Quality Texas - Multiple Application Levels
The Texas Award for Performance Excellence, patterned after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, is an annual recognition of Texas organizations that excel in performance and organizational improvement principles. Public or private businesses, government agencies, health care organizations, public and private educational organizations, and nonprofit organizations located in Texas are eligible to apply.
To promote broader learning, there are different feedback levels of applications, based on the Baldrige Criteria, including whether an organization is just beginning their quality journey, making significant achievements, or excelling in world-class performance. An Engagement Level, Commitment Level, and Progress Level application, which correspond to use of the Criteria, are reviewed and feedback is provided to help organizations move to a higher level of performance and sustainability.
